‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that Max Kall, year long boyfriend of Moriah Plath, has got some shopping to do for a pinke promise ring. In another episode we saw him employ Lydia to help get Moriah’s ring size in a way that no one was expecting, Kim Plath, the Mom, practically volunteered the information at one point because she suggested Lydia get a tiny ring that once belonged to her Grandmother out of her jewelry box.
It fit Moriah’s pinkie finger perfectly, Moriah joked about now being able to keep the ring, but she had no idea that that little exercise was but for one purpose – so that Max could get her a promise ring.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Lydia and Max help each other out
Only Lydia knew about this, geeze, Lydia’s keeping a lot tucked in her belt this season. She’s harboring a secret crush on someone (who we still don’t know the name of yet) and now she’s the only one who knows about Max’s promise ring to Moriah, and he’s depending on her to keep that a secret from Kim and the rest of the family – at least for now.
It’s really Moriah’s choice, when and if she tells her family or if she just lets them find it out on social media. However, Moriah’s pretty good about that sort of thing, I could see her telling Kim and Barry about it one night over dinner – though perhaps after she told Ethan and Olivia, I imagine if anyone knew first it might be them.
Lydia is also using Max as a sympathetic ear as well, telling him about her own relationship and using him as a sounding board. It might sound weird that she’s doing this with her sister’s boyfriend, but honestly, I don’t think Lydia is the type of girl to suddenly catch feelings for a guy who is obviously into her sister.
She’s just telling him about how hard it is to keep her feelings for this guy at bay and not talk to him and text him every day when they both obviously want to. Lydia’s trying so hard to stick to her parents’ rules, but will she be able to in the end? Stay tuned!!!
