Weddings on The Young and the Restless are always an event to remember. Whether fan-favorite couples enjoy a grand, romantic, lavish ceremony to remember, or nuptials are interrupted, or betrayals are exposed, Y&R knows how to bring the soapy drama.
The Young and the Restless has managed to create some of the most unforgettable moments in soap history with its often elaborate, sometimes over-the-top weddings. Here are the ten most memorable weddings on Y&R.
10. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks)
Mariah and Tessa made history as the first LGBTQ couple to marry on Y&R. The ceremony had a 70s glam theme and was held at the Top of the Tower in Genoa City.

9. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracy E. Bregman)
Michael and Lauren are one of the most loving, enduring couples on Y&R. In 2005, Lauren and Michael were married in a fun little ceremony in Las Vegas, complete with an Elvis impersonator.
While the wedding went off without a hitch (pun intended!), the honeymoon turned into a dramatic, high-stakes storyline when Shelia Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Tom Fischer (Roscoe Born) blew up the yacht that Lauren and Michael were on, leading everyone to believe that Lauren was killed.
Of course, the couple were reunited and recently celebrated their milestone 20th wedding anniversary in December 2025, a rarity for most soap couples.

8. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Billy Miller)
Victoria and Billy had an unforgettable wedding in 2010 when Victoria was arrested by her own father, Victor Newman (Eric Braden), mid-ceremony. Victor despised the Abbotts, so he made it a point to try to keep Victoria and Billy apart.

7. Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) wed Patrick Murphy (Michael Fairman)
The the couple were married in 2009 in a heartwarming ceremony that took place at the Chancellor mansion. The romance was a sweet later-in-life pairing and brought a breath of fresh air to the CBS soap.

6. Devon Winters’s (Bryton James) and Hilary Curtis’s (Mishael Morgan)
In 2018, Devon and Hilary’s second wedding was tragic as the couple was married while Hilary was on her deathbed in the hospital. The ceremony was a major tearjerker for fans who had been rooting for them. The episode was heartbreaking.

5. Cane Ashby (then Daniel Goddard) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)
Cane and Lily were originally married in 2009, but their second wedding was much more romantic and far more memorable. The couple was remarried in a romantic ceremony in Paris on Valentine’s Day in 2012 after Lily forgave Cane for faking his death.

4. Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Drucilla Barber (Victoria Rowell)
Neil and Drucilla Barber were married in 1993 in a gorgeous wedding at the Chancellor estate. The supercouple was renowned for their intense chemistry. Their wedding was a major event.

3. Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell)
Danny and Christine were married in 1990 in a very beautiful, romantic destination wedding in Hawaii. The fan-favorite couple enjoyed a sun-soaked ceremony that was very much enjoyed by the viewers and is still talked about today.

2. Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)
Sharon and Nick are often thought of as the “Nikki and Victor” of their generation. Or, “Nikki and Victor 2.0,” if you will. Their first wedding took place in 1996 after being each other’s “high-school sweethearts,” and they had another memorable ceremony in 2014, when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) interrupted it.

1. Nikki Reed (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braden)
Obviously, Nikki and Victor‘s wedding was like a fairytale, and their first one was held in 1984. Historically, it was one of the show’s most-watched and highest-rated episodes of all time.

The supercouple tied the knot in the Colonnade Room and shared their first dance as husband and wife to the iconic love song, “Through the Eyes of Love” by Melissa Manchester, which was the theme song from the film Ice Castles. Out of all the Y&R weddings, Nikki and Victor’s first wedding is still considered the most epic one of all.
The Young and the Restless is known for it’s explosive drama, romantic supercouples, and over the top weddings. There is no shortage of drama in Genoa City. The soap has had numerous supercouples and many unforgettable weddings, but the above nuptials definitely “take the cake.”
