    • Adam suddenly asked Chelsea if she wanted more children
    • Chelsea thinks Adam’s feelings are more complicated than he’s letting on
    • Billy could revert to his old ways and disappoint Sally again

Adam and Sally Suffered the Tragic Loss of Their Baby Girl, Ava

Around 3 years ago, Adam and Sally suffered the tragic loss of their baby girl, Ava. Sally had severe complications during labor, and Adam was forced to choose between Sally’s life and the life of their daughter.

He chose to save Sally. It broke Sally’s heart into a million pieces when she learned that Ava was too premature to survive. At first, Sally was reluctant to forgive Adam for choosing to sacrifice their child.

However, in time, she came to terms with it and accepted his decision. Now, Sally is pregnant again, only this time, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the father of her baby.

Billy recently shared with Adam that he and Sally are getting married and expecting a child. Sally’s pregnancy took Adam aback.

So, when Adam and Sally sat down to discuss this, Sally told Adam that she sometimes sees their daughter, Ava, in her dreams. She can even hear her laugh.

Adam Newman had an interesting reaction to Sally’s pregnancy. He asked Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) whether she had ever considered having another child.

Of course, Adam and Chelsea share a son, Conner Newman (Judah Mackey), and Adam said that he wasn’t trying to bring Ava back by asking Chelsea if she wanted more kids.

That said, Adam’s sudden request to Chelsea if she wants more children suggests that Sally’s pregnancy has a profound effect on him.

Chelsea immediately pointed out to Adam that Sally’s pregnancy seems to have gotten to him more than he was letting on.

Adam Newman Asked Chelsea If She Ever Thought About Having Another Child

Adam admitted that it opened up old wounds for him. We have to wonder whether Adam is thinking about his time with Sally, and whether there may be another chance for them sometime in the future.

Sally and Adam had very strong chemistry back when they were together. Adam doesn’t seem to share the same spark that he and Sally once did.

Sally would never leave Billy at this point without a solid reason. If Billy reverted to his old ways and took another senseless gamble, we could see that coming between him and Sally.

If Billy is going to see this through with Sally, he’ll need to practice some self-control, which may only work for him in the short term, given his track record.

Billy may inevitably do something to disappoint Sally again. Plus, on the other side of the coin, we have Adam struggling with conflicting feelings over Sally’s pregnancy.

Chelsea may realize that there is more to his complicated emotions than meets the eye. It could ultimately drive a wedge between Adam and Chelsea.

While their conversation about Sally’s baby may have been a way for the two characters to move forward with their respective partners, it could eventually lead them back to each other.
