TLC ‘I Am Jazz’ spoilers finds that we have seen Jazz Jennings trying to help out all of her friends. She recently put on a fundraiser for her friend Noelle’s gender confirmation surgery and another friend of her’s, JoJo, is going through the same thing right now. Jazz wanted to stand by JoJo when she was ready to get a consultation as well. She went to talk to JoJo’s grandmother as well. We have the news on how everything has gone for them.

With all of the help that Jazz offered to JoJo, she actually ended up changing her mind about her surgery. JoJo no longer wants to have the top surgery, but she wants to go ahead with the bottom surgery. This is a huge decision for a 15-year-old right now too. She said, “As far as breast augmentation surgery goes, my need to have the surgery kind of plateaued. It’s not really there anymore. I don’t think my grandma influenced me. I think it was a little more of my own soul searching. You know when you dig deeper into what’s causing your dysphoria? I realized it was my genitals, and how my true feelings and true emotions are for bottom surgery.”

“I was considering top surgery very heavily. But when I was uncovering the root of my dysphoria, I realized that bottom surgery was something that I ultimately needed.” JoJo knows that eventually, she will get the top surgery done, but she doesn’t feel that she needs a breast augmentation right now. Jazz was happy to get JoJo’s full story and told her, “I am both surprised and not surprised because being transgender, when you look in the mirror, that person that you know you are within isn’t fully reflected. And really, you feel uncomfortable all around. So to attribute that dysphoria to a specific area, it’s very challenging.”

JoJo’s grandmother has asked her to wait until she is 18 to get all of the gender confirmation surgeries. She has also said that she thinks JoJo’s ideas about being transgender is just a “phase.” We hope that her grandmother will find a way to accept JoJo and help her through this tough time. You can see more of Jazz and JoJo on TLC. ‘I Am Jazz’ airs every Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST. Jazz is also very active on Instagram and you can check what she is doing now.
