TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers finds that Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio are one of our favorite couples on the show franchise history! What’s not to love about them? The couple is now engaged and living together in Mexico and trying to make their relationship work and thrive.
In the spoilers for the next episode, we will see Kenneth and Armando with Kenneth’s family and we will hear another man yell homophobic slurs at the men. This, of course, makes them very upset, and we will get to see what happens when this all goes down.
TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Spoilers – Mexico is Still Not Very Open to Homosexualility
Armando has told Kenneth that the two of them cannot be holding hands or kissing in public because Mexico is still extremely conservative when it comes to being gay.
When the men are celebrating their engagement, we will see another man shouting homophobic slurs at them and around Kenny’s family. Kenny’s daughters are surprised to see this happening and Kenny wants to say something to the man. Armando tells him that there is no good that would come out of it.

One of Kenny’s daughters tells cameras, “I really hope it’s an eye opener for my dad. It’s been for me, because we aren’t used to this. I wanted to punch that guy in the face.” Armando tells everyone, “I don’t want us to get hurt.” He then told them that he didn’t want the situation to escalate. Kenny told his family that everything was fine and that shouldn’t let it bother them.
When we first met Kenny and Armando, they were excited and nervous about being a same-sex couple of the show. “I’m a little nervous, personally, not knowing what to expect. I’m recently coming out so, you know, putting it out to the world is a big step for me,” Armando told fans.
We loved seeing Kenny propose to Armando and with his whole family there, it really did make things very special. We hope that these two can make it as a couple in Mexico and that they won’t be subject to more slurs.
