TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers if you were tuned into last week’s episode of the show you saw some serious drama go down between Yazan and Brittany Banks. When she arrived in Jordan, Yazan was there to pick her up and take her to her hotel. Many of the viewers were very confused why Yazan had such a fit when he was picking her up. Brittany wanted to explain it more to her fans and ET did an interview with her so she could educate us all on what really happened.

So what started this whole blow out? Yazan saw that Brittany brought alcohol with her to Jordan. He told her that she couldn’t drink it in Jordan and his family looked down upon it because it is not part of the Islamic culture. Brittany also saw the film crew and hugged them, which is something else a Muslim woman is not supposed to do. These were all red flags for Yazan and it upset him so much that he was ready to leave her. Brittany saw a side of him that she says that she has never seen and viewers are concerned that this may not work out between the two of them.

“That behavior in that moment, it was shocking, after dealing with my ex and you know, I did, like, grow up for the most part in Palm Beach but I am from 79th street in Chicago, so not much scares me. He’s usually very calm and very sweet and ver understanding so I was like, ‘You must need a nap or something.'” Brittany said that he never told her that she shouldn’t hug the camera crew and that they never talked about how she cannot drink there, even though, he says that this is something they talked about in great detail.
“Seeing Yazan yell at me like that, it was super cringey. I don’t like people yelling at me, especially a grown a** man. That’s not cute to me. If you know me, you know I don’t play. I gave him regular old Brittany…so that’s what he got. He accepted me for who I was from day one because he always followed my Instagram and he was liking and commenting on those posts, so he must have not had a problem with it. He must of loved it and it seems like that’s what he was looking for.”
What can Brittany tell us about their future? “When I’m dealing with someone- especially from a different background, and he’s used to things being a certain way- we’re learning to compromise. I think sometimes you have to just check things at the door that you’re not willing to accept. We still have time to see if the compromise is worth it. I think it’s too soon to tell. So far, I think everything has happened the way it’s supposed to and I’m enjoying the ride. I’m not gonna convert to any religion for anybody. I don’t think that’s a good idea for anybody. If you do it, it should be for God, not for a man.”
So how does Brittany feel about living in Jordan? “Jordan’s amazing. I like the people, I like the culture. I like the different things it has to offer, the natural beauty of it, the deserts and all that stuff. When I went I was like, ‘Wow, this is so different than what you would expect hearing om the news or something like that.’ They try to make it seem so bad and dirty and stuff but it’s not.” What will be next for these two?
