TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ spoilers reveal that have been happening with Kalani and Asuelu lately, one didn’t expect them to be getting along, much less eating dinner together at a mexican restaurant together.
Now, correct me if I’m wrong but I was under the impression that pacific islander cuisine was pretty spicy, or at least it could be, but Asuelu had some major problems downing that jalapeno pepper! Kalani asked if he’d ever even had jalapeno before and honestly, I don’t think Asuelu had.

I’m assuming that Samoan food is not that spicy at all or just lacks peppers. Either that or he’s gotten used to the American Cuisine in Utah, and let’s face it, anything coming out of Utah is just not that spicy – at least food-wise it’s not.
I don’t exactly know how long Asuelu has been here (I’m going to assume at least as long as his son’s been alive which is around 2 years.) but you would think by now, Kalani or someone would have introduced him to Taco Tuesday in which case he would have gotten well-acquainted with the dish that is chips and salsa. But I’m guessing that Kalani and the fam isn’t all that big on mexican cuisine.
The expression on his face was priceless as he reached for what looked like iced tea. He had not been expecting the jalapeno to be that hot. Kalani cracked up laughing. I guess that when it comes to the kitchen, Kalani doesn’t really spice things up.
That’s okay though, she can spice things up where it counts, looks like. After all, she did give this guy two healthy sons, just sayin’. They were surprisingly amicable to each other over dinner, considering what all has went down over the course of filming, this is surprising.
But, Asuelu says that with therapy it looks like their relationship is getting better, and Kalani agrees. It looks like she is satisified with the ‘adult steps’ they are taking in their relationship and it seems to be working. Could this all turn out okay? We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
