TLC ‘1,000-Lb Sisters’ Spoilers: What Happened to The Slaton Sisters?

At the end of the first season of 1,000-Lb Sisters, a lot of things were left still up in the air. Dr. Proctor told Tammy that she needed to lose a little more weight so that they could then discuss the gastric surgery. Tammy wanted to have the surgery done, but she knew she had a long way to go in order to meet the qualifications. Amy did qualify for the surgery and it did upset Tammy a bit at first, but she is aware of what she needs to do to qualify.

TLC ‘1,000 Pound Sisters’ Spoilers: Another Season

Many of Tammy’s fans asked her if they are doing a second season of the show and she said,” No, sorry. We’re not doing another season.” Amy continues to share videos on YouTube and her fans were very concerned about her during the pandemic. She told her fans that she did not like the masks because they rubbed her nose raw, but she was hanging in there as much as she could.

One of Amy’s fans wrote to her, “I never thought there would come a day, where I would even think about resubscribing and feeling positive about you and your channel. Never. It is amazing to see the transformation-you’re more confident, positive, no drama, no trolling, no lies, bullsh*t or blaming or making excuses.” The fan mail just kept coming. Fans posted, “We need a season 2!!!” “I miss you guys! Wish there was another season! Come to Ohio for a fan meet and greet!”

TLC has yet to release any information about a second season and from the looks of it, it may not happen. We agree with fans, we would like to see the sisters again, but for now, you can follow them on social media. Amy and Tammy post regularly on Instagram and YouTube. They seem to be doing very well right now and we wish them continued health and safety. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
