Becoming famous may not be all it’s cracked out to be for TikTok stars, Charli D’Amelio and Dixie D’Amelio. These two girls became incredibly popular and it was pretty much over night!

They have gained hundreds of millions of followers and now the fame is catching up to them. Although, they do love being rich and famous, there is something that is really getting to them these days: The Paparazzi.

Charli D’Amelio and Dixie D’Amelio: The Girls Speak Out

The paparazzi has always been tough to deal with for the famous. There are two YouTubers in question that Charli and Dixie are tired of seeing outside of their homes. Charli actually called them out on her podcast.

She said, “Kevin, Josh, this is for you guys: Please stop waiting outside my house. Super weird, super uncomfortable, big invasion of privacy. Home is supposed to be a safe place, not a place where you have people waiting for you.”

Dixie chimed in as well, “Every time I leave my apartment, they’re illegally parked right outside and then follow me all the way to your house.” Charli even said that she tried to talk to the men about it but they showed up again and again.. “I was like, ‘Hey, I just wat to let you know, I’ve been able to create a great friendship with you guys. I really do appreciate and I understand that this is your job. But just the waiting outside the house thing just really isn’t cool.'”

The paparazzi seems to have gotten so bad for these new TikTokers that some of them have just started to become friends with them. Fame…isn’t that what teenagers on social media want these days? Isn’t that why they post their entire lives on social media?

There are many scandals that the paparazzi has started to address though. One of these is the scandal of all of these TikTokers and YouTubers taking a trip to the Bahamas in the middle of a pandemic.

Although the TikTokers all said that they flew on private planes and were all tested for COVID before they left, their fans think it was a terrible example to set especially for teenagers.

Most of Charli and Dixie‘s followers think that if they are tired of the paparazzi, they can choose to stay out of the spotlight. This is the best way to fix their problem, right? They are the ones who brought the fame on themselves so for us “normal” folks…. we say cry me a river.
