After Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) slows down her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) worry about Kyle repeating past mistakes. As they say, “old habits die hard.”

Amanda and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) clash as Amanda pushes Abby’s buttons. Later, Amanda and Phyllis spend some time together. With all that Phyllis has been through lately, she could use the friendly support.
Amanda may be grilled by just about everyone in town if she has a connection to Dumas, but she’ll stay loyal to her client as she helps set him up for some strategic maneuvers that may advance him even further as a businessman.
Claire plans a party with the misguided belief that she can somehow change Victor’s mind about Kyle. How disappointed will she be when she realizes there’s a better chance of hell freezing over?
On May 21st, several couples will take center stage as Y&R plays up the romance factor. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) shows Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) that his marriage to her comes first. Does this mean he finally throws in the towel with “the Mustache?”
Jack presents Diane with a meaningful gift. Meanwhile, Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) reminisce over their decades-long romance. Heaven knows, they have been married enough times.
