‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that many have wondered whether or not Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) would be staying in Genoa City. While he came in quite the ruthless and unlikeable character, many viewers have begun to like him and hope he can stay around.

The stories that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) were set to explain whether or not he would be able to stay, and it feels like the writers heard the call of the fans and tried to make it so he could still be a likable character and stay on the show.

However, the real question is… did it work? Is Ashland still a likable character after stealing his dead best friend’s wallet and fleeing into the woods after the car accident, or are there still more secrets that he hasn’t shared that will surely sway the fan’s opinions of him and force him out of Genoa City?

Right now it seems like it’s on the fence, and the opinion could sway either way. If there really is no more and what he’s said about the accident is true, I can see how fans could pity him and be able to move on with him as a character, however, if he’s lying or has more secrets hidden deep underneath, we could certainly see the end of Ashland Locke in Genoa City.

It will probably all depend on what Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) finds and if it’s worse than what Ashland described in his story.

What do you think? Do you think Billy Abbott is going to discover something else about Ashland’s past and will it be darker than stealing his dead best friend’s identity? Let us know in the comments below.
