‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) is still down south apparently, and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) has been made by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). In fact, Ashland is scattering trying to figure out what happened and is trying to find Michael.

Meanwhile, we haven’t heard from Michael too much, and Victor has gathered Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to protect the family business first of all, then Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), because Victor seems to care about his company more than anything.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) Become A Bargaining Chip For Ashland Locke (Robert Newman)?

While it may seem like Victor has a clear advantage over Ashland, I think there’s a pawn piece that we’re missing, and that is Michael himself. Ashland is looking for him and I think he will become a bargaining chip for Ashland… a sort of hostage in this negotiation.

The Newman’s will obviously want to do everything they can to him, but if he has Michael to bargain with, he could either leave town or better yet, gain control of the company, at least for a little bit. Whether or not Michael knows that he could be in danger is unknown, but I think Victor should pull him out of there as fast as possible.

Ashland is onto Victor, and if Victor gets too cocky for his own good, it could come back and bite him. Meanwhile, Nick may be a loose cannon, as he is more concerned for his sister and her feelings than he is his father’s company. This could also throw a wrench into Victor’s plans!
