‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that several Y&R stars made the cut for Daytime Emmy nominations including Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman), Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) and Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott), however, one name not on the list was Sharon Case (Sharon Rosales).
Many fans believed she should have been nominated, especially for her performance when Rey was killed and leading up to it. However, was it really a snub or were the decisions made before that scene was even filmed?
“Who’s ready for the #DaytimeEmmys? 🙌 We are so excited for all of the #YR cast and crew included in our nominations! Tune in on June 24th on @cbstv and @paramountplus to cheer them on. 🎉”

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Was Sharon Case (Sharon Rosales) Snubbed For A Daytime Emmy Nomination?
Don’t get me wrong, I think Sharon did an amazing job in that scene. It felt real, and the way her character already knew before Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) told her was surreal. However, before that Sharon hadn’t done much outside of kind of helping Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) plan her wedding and hang around Crimson Lights eavesdropping on other peoples’ conversations.
Some fans commented asking where Sharon’s nomination was, “Where’s @sharonlcase nomination??”, “Sharon Case the best”, “No disrespect, but really????”, “Congratulations to all but I can’t believe Sharon Case wasn’t nominated.”, “Where is Sharon Case?!” and “@sharonlcase should be nominated for her roles she’s so good 😊 😍🙌.”
It certainly does seem like a strange list, but at least Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) was nominated. That must feel vindicating knowing that he was just fired from the show but may win an award for best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Let’s go Jordi! Show them what they’re going to be missing out on.
