‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is about to cry on Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) shoulder about Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) interrogation.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Is Pretending To Be Innocent
Sharon keeps digging herself a hole, pretending she’s innocent. We think she’ll tell Nick how Daniel marched over to see her. Daniel all but accused her of murdering Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and framing him for the crime.
Sharon’s been spiraling for months now, and how she manages to continue to snow Nick is beyond us. She’s somehow convinced Nick and her kids that she’s taking her bipolar medicine like a good girl and she has her mental health under control.
She’s formed an unhealthy attachment to the dead man she killed, who’s all in her head, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), who’s been helping her get away with murder.
When Daniel asked her what she was doing at his home the night Heather died, Sharon repeated the lie she told Chance. She said she didn’t want to remind Daniel of the last time he saw Heather since the two were fighting that night.
Daniel immediately called her out and said that the last time he saw Heather, he kissed her goodbye and told her he loved her. There was no fight. Daniel told Sharon she was lying and that because of her dishonesty, he was targeted. He wants her to go to the police and tell the truth.
We’ve been waiting for someone… anyone… to discover the ugly truth about Sharon’s crime. It looks like the only two people who are onto Sharon are Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) and Daniel, the person Sharon framed.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Told Phyllis To Leave Sharon Alone
Phyllis knows Sharon went to see Heather the night of her death. Sharon claimed that Heather told her she was fighting with Daniel, which is ridiculous. She also saw Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Brient) afterward and said nothing. She only told Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) later on, claiming she didn’t want to pile onto Daniel’s grief.
When Phyllis shared her suspicions with Nick, he told her not to do anything to upset Sharon. He feels that she is just getting her life together, which sets Phyllis off.
He also told her to leave Sharon alone. But Phyllis isn’t going to sit by and watch her son get railroaded and do nothing. She’s going to take action.
On the other hand, Nick will continue to look clueless and believe Sharon’s sob story. Not to mention, Sharon doesn’t even have a solid alibi. Once she informs Nick that Daniel has been to her place, he’ll likely find Daniel and tell him that he and his mother must stop bullying Sharon.
We can’t blame Phyllis because her son is in serious trouble. The police will soon come to his door and arrest him with all the evidence they found at Daniel’s penthouse.
Sharon is literally getting killer advice from Cameron, and she’s covered her tracks very well. Hopefully, Sharon’s plan will backfire, and she’ll be caught. Sharon needs to really get back on her meds and get the help she clearly needs.
