‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to get the week started on the right foot.
Monday August 26 should be an interesting one as we’re going to get some fun character building happening.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try to mend fences with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Unfortunately, the spoiled and jilted brat won’t be humble enough just yet.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will offer some advice to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
She won’t like it, but it’s something she has to hear since he’ll ask her to not interfere in Sumer Newman (Alison Lanier)’s love life.
We have to admit, Phyllis has been doing a decent job of trying to steer Summer. And with her and Kyle reaching an agreement it looks like peace is in sight.
Or will Phyllis take Nick’s warning as a challenge to push Summer for more?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, August 26: Kyle’s not having it
Well, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers can’t blame Jack for trying. But we agree with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to let Kyle fail and pull himself up.
While that’s brutal, it’s the only way for Kyle to lose his arrogance. Though knowing him, he’ll turn into a cheap copy of Adam. More like the coyote with the roadrunner.
But Jack will try it his way and extend an olive branch.
Kyle won’t be in the mood and throw it back at him in true spoiled brat fashion.
But not all will be lost and Summer will offer to have the lawyers draw up a shared custody agreement.
This one will focus on their son’s best interests and happiness, so this could be one fire that’s put out.
Maybe.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, August 26: Nick supports and warns Phyllis
Nick is his exes’ superhero as he swoops in to offer any and all support he can.
In the case with Phyllis, we think he’ll try go convince her to let their daughter live her life. He’ll encourage her to offer love and support and leave it at that.
While Phyllis has done a good job overall of helping Summer, there’s always a point where things go sideways.
At least, in her mind. She’ll see something she’s not happy with and try to fix it, and that’s when things spiral.
There’s a chance she’ll listen to Nick and let Summer and Kyle settle things peacefully. A small chance, but it’s still there.
