‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lucas Adams, who plays Noah Newman on the soap, recently shared that his sister, Audrie Farris, was almost killed by a drunk driver in a car crash.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adams’s Sister and Her Husband Were Nearly Killed
The accident happened on the weekend of November 15th. He shared a photo from the incident on his Instagram stories.
It showed a totaled vehicle by some trees on the side of the road and explained that a drunk driver had hit Audrie and her husband head-on.
The shocking image demonstrated how close the family came to total tragedy. The horrific crash sent them off the road.
He wrote on his social media post,
“Thankfully, she is going to be okay, but has a long road ahead of her, as her hip and foot were broken.”
Adams continued,
“She and her husband, Josh, have eight kids and could use all the help they can get to get through this.”
He also posted a shot of Audrie’s Venmo and added,
“If you can or would like to support them, I know they would very much appreciate it.”
Apparently, the severity of the accident left them with much to contend with. Audrie faces surgeries and a tough recovery that will take a lot of time and energy.
Medical and household needs will be a challenge for them to meet. However, the actor also gave fans a word of caution.
“Sadly, someone is trying to exploit the situation and has created a fake account. If you are planning to donate, please be sure to choose ‘audriefarris’, all lowercase with one s.”
Before Adams came to Y&R, soap fans knew him as Tripp Dalton on Days of Our Lives. On November 4th, he officially made his debut as Noah Newman on Y&R.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Noah Was Involved In His Own Car Accident
In this case, life imitates art as Noah has been through his own car crash. He was intentionally run off the road and is facing his own long journey toward recovery.
Interestingly, Adams is working with his former on-screen mother. Tamara Braun, who played Ava Vitali on DOOL, while Adams played her son, Tripp.
Adams recently dished to Soap Opera Digest about his “complicated relationship” with his new on-screen love interest, Sienna Bacall.

“I did not find out until I booked the role,”
He explained his interesting storyline twist.
“Tamara had given me a call because she had found out, so she called me up and said, “Hey, I think I have to stop calling you my son for the most part.”
The two actors found it highly amusing that they went from being on-screen mother and son on DOOL to being romantically involved on Y&R. “I think I laughed for a good second,” the actor recalled.
Tamara and Lucas sat down and made a plan for how they would sell their characters’ romance. They obviously had to adjust their chemistry to fit their current storyline.

The two of them had already established a solid working relationship, which helped them find their groove with the new material.
He admitted,
“Now I have to turn my feelings differently. It took me a second to get going, but once we got it, we were good to go.”
