Michael and Lauren weren’t friends initially but they became so close due to Lauren’s act of kindness to Michael’s brother, Kevin Fisher (ex-Greg Rikaart). Their friendship blossomed and they became lovers as time went on, and they shared their first kiss at a brunch, where they were discussing how they would help Kevin get over the obsession he had with Lauren. The couple later tied the knot on December 9, 2005, sharing the moment with friends and family. John McCook came from the ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) to witness the couple’s big day.

Lauren was raised by a single dad. Her mother was never really in her life. She took over her father’s company when he died. She sang with rock star, Danny Romalotti when she was a teenger.
Lauren married detective Paul Williams, but their happiness was cut short when a stalker, Sean came into their lives and they got divorced. She later married Dr. Scott Grainger.

Michael first came to the show as an attorney who was fired for sexually harassing Christine Blair and other women. He lost his job and his wife due to this. He made to attach Christine but was caught and stopped by Paul Williams. He was sent to jail for this. He got out of prison and found Christine again and tried to woo her. This didn’t work, and he fell in love with another woman, Victoria Newman. That didn’t work too. He later found Lauren. Lauren and Michael’s marriage, though happy, hasn’t been very smooth as they had some problems; one was with Sheila carter who was obsessed with Lauren. Howver, the couple are happily married with a child, Fenmore Michael Baldwin.
