‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been in Los Angeles with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and looking for clues about his estranged son Keemo Volien Abbott, his life, and what was going on before his untimely death.
However, Jack also keeps receiving text messages and feels as though he’s being watched. He noticed some of the plastic was peeled back in a window by the show and is beginning to grow paranoid as though someone is playing a game with him through the text messages.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Breaks Down While Also Being A Bit Paranoid That He’s Being Watched
As he’s about to leave for the night to go back to the hotel, Jack has one last moment where he breaks down after the realization that this was his son’s house, and he has no idea what was going on with him or what any of this really means. What if he had just visited or called and tried to make things right? The questions are torturing him.
While we mostly already know that the new character of Allie will his granddaughter, and is likely the one texting him and spying, the real question is, why is she playing games? Why doesn’t she just meet her grandfather and explain everything, instead of essentially torturing Jack with the past and sneaking around? It seems odd, and I can’t think of a way that they will be able to explain her behavior.
In the end, we can assume that Jack will find what he is looking for, but for now, it seems like a strange last few episodes. We’ve basically heard Jack repeat himself a million times, while Phyllis continues to reassure him that he is supposed to be there.
