‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that in a preview for next week we see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) crashing her car! She’s on the phone with her mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) when she screams and apparently gets into a car accident.

We’ve seen car accidents before, in fact, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) skidded out his car on black ice just a year ago, but this feels like there could be something bigger at play. In fact, it feels like there’s a darker reason why she’s getting into the accident, and I suspect it’s because of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) Cut Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) Brake Lines?

Ashland doesn’t really love Victoria, he’s only using her to get what he wants. As soon as he does, he’ll throw her to the side like he did his own son, Harrison Locke. I think that Ashland is going to cut her brake lines, or mess with her vehicle in some way that causes her to either crash or stop herself from getting into the accident.

Since he couldn’t just take her to Italy to take care of her, he’s going to have to do it here and a car accident is a perfect cover for someone like him.

With Victoria being on the phone with Nikki, hopefully, they’ll be able to get to her soon and she will be fine, but I think there is a long storyline in store. One where Ashland thinks he’s gotten away while Victoria is in the hospital, and the Newman family comes full blast after him.

Ashland, if responsible, should be very careful. He’s about to feel a lot of angry people coming at him hard and fast.

What do you think? Do you think Victoria is going to be badly injured and did Ashland have something to do with it? Let us know in the comments below.
