‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that congratulations are in order as Christel Khalil, who plays Lily Winters on the soap, has welcomed baby number three.

Khalil shared the happy news and a picture of her new baby on Instagram. The pic was of the actress, who was in her home gym with her newborn, strapped to her chest.
Her new bundle of joy looks adorable, wearing a cream onesie. Khalil was lying on her back on a weight bench, appearing to lift weights.
The actress showed her fans one of the first looks at her cute baby bump in October 2025, when she joined some of the Y&R cast as they danced around to Michael Jackson’s epic 80s hit, “Thriller,” for Halloween.
This is also Khalil’s second child with her husband, Sam Restagno. The couple met in Coachella in April 2016. They were engaged in 2022.
The pair married in Italy in October 2024. Khalil and Restagno announced in March 2024 that they had welcomed their first child together, a son named Remy.
Khalil also has another child from a previous marriage. He is a fifteen-year-old named Michael Caden. His godfather is Bryton James, who plays Devon Winters on Y&R, and his godmother is actress Fadhia Marcelin.
The actress, who typically prefers to keep her private life private, hasn’t shared the sex of her newborn or the child’s name. Khalil is now preparing to return to Y&R, as Lily will soon return to Genoa City.

In the storyline, Lily’s ex-husband, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), found his inner Aristotle Dumas as he and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have taken over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) legacy and Newman Enterprises.
However, Victor is never down and out for long. He has an elaborate plan to take back his family’s company. The Mustache believes that tricking Cane into thinking that he has kidnapped Lily and their kids.
He’s using it as leverage to regain control over his company. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) got the truth out of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about Victor’s plan.
However, the two women think it would be much better to include Lily in Victor’s scheme to take back his business and, inevitably, coerce Cane into signing Newman back over him.
Lily had left town because she needed to get away from Cane after the two of them kissed on New Year’s Eve. She wants to put space between herself and Cane and prove to her ex-husband that she’s over him.
The last time Khalil went on maternity leave, she took a three- month break from Y&R, which means the actress may be back on the canvas by April.
With Christel Khalil getting ready to return to Genoa City, Lily is going to step into a huge mess. We have to wonder if Lily can ever forgive Cane for his latest stunt.
