This next coming week will see Chelsea and Adam getting closer than ever before. In fact, the two of them will even make love. And while Chelsea is certainly happy that things are moving along so well for them, she’s still got her worries in the back of her head.

Actress Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Chelsea on the hit CBS soap, tells Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “There’s no doubt that Connor is progressing. He’s being more independent and more like a balanced kid again. It shows that Chelsea living at Adam’s has been helping Connor. He’s become a happier kid.”
But with that said, Chelsea is going into this relationship with reservations. That’s because she knows that the ‘old’ Adam can creep up again at any time. Melissa further explains, “She is very fearful because she has lost Adam so many times before so she has her defenses up. She tells him, ‘If we do this, you have to promise me that I will never lose you again.’”
Now, whether or not Adam Newman lives up to that promise remains to be seen. For now, ‘Young and the Restless'(Y&R) fans will simply have to buckle up because we have a feeling that things are going to move pretty fast! Will Chelsea and Adam make things last? Or will there be yet another nasty and difficult break up before the summer? Of course, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
