‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) is a shell of a man compared to who he used to be. He thinks he’s not ready to be a father and that he’s not bonding with Dominic enough so Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) should have more time with him.
Meanwhile, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is, obviously, completely against this. Dominic is her child and no one is going to convince her otherwise. Devon and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) signed a contract stating that this exact kind of thing would not happen, and just months ago Devon was all over Mariah’s case about her attachment to Dominic.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) Ready To Break To Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) Will!
Is Chance really ready to fold and give in to Devon’s wishes? Is his relationship with Abby on the verge of collapse and what will this mean for his character? Could we see him on his way out as he goes to get help for his survivor’s guilt or will there be a sudden change and he’ll be ready to fight Devon for his son?
On the other side of this, you have Devon, who is absolutely out of his mind, and it doesn’t help that he has Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) squawking in his ear that he’s doing the right thing. Dominic may share his blood, but he is not his father according to the law.
He wants to claim that he wants more time with Dominic, yet Abby and Chance have allowed him more time with him than any other donor should get. They’ve bent over backward making sure everyone was included and honestly this feels so out of Devon’s character that it doesn’t feel natural at all.
