‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the therapy sessions may already be getting to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Obviously, it’s not going to get better overnight, but there seems to be something happening inside him and it shows.

Today, we saw him give a bit of pushback when he and his wife, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) went over to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) to pick up Dominic a little before they were supposed to. This caught Devon off guard, but Chance stood his ground, picked up his son, and together they went to spend some time together as a family before Chance had another therapy session.

This has Devon feeling a certain kind of way, and now is being pressured by Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to try to fight for full custody. Sure, Devon said he didn’t want that and that he has everything he asked for, there’s still a part of us that makes us think he will fight for full custody at some point.

This storyline started out ridiculous but has continued to get more and more bananas the further we get. The fact that Devon got any form of custody is bonkers, and even the shred of thought that he could fight for full custody is insane. It’s honestly an embarrassment to people who have had donors and surrogates, and the kind of leaps they’re taking… even as a soap opera… is too far out there.

I think Devon fighting for full custody is next, and we will see it in the near future. We just hope that the little bit of pushback we saw from Chance today continues to grow.

What do you think? Will Devon attempt to get full custody over Dominic or will he reluctantly back off? Let us know in the comments below.
