‘The Young And the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest there is major buzz that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will soon reunite with his ex-flame, Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford), while Sally finds love again with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Is Having Emotional Difficulty After Being Kidnapped
Phyllis just returned from being held hostage at an abandoned mental facility with her long-time nemesis, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and she’s definitely shaken up.
Fortunately, Phyllis and Sharon were rescued by Billy, and Sharon’s perpetual knight in shining armor, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Phyllis is having some emotional difficulty moving on from her kidnapping. She’s endured a lot over the past few months, and this latest ordeal has left her distraught and edgy, and she’s turned to Billy for comfort.
In addition to being kindred spirits of sorts, Billy and Phyllis seem to really “get” each other. The two of them have experienced other relationships in which they have been encouraged to stifle the more “colorful” aspects of their personality. Still, when they are together, they are allowed to be themselves fully.
Not to mention, they have been involved in a romance before, so there is obviously a mutual attraction. Billy and Phyllis may feel compelled to be honest with each other about their feelings, but in the end, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get hurt.
Sally will soon recognize that Phyllis and Billy share a special bond, and she’ll feel threatened by it.
Meanwhile, Daniel is still mourning the loss of his beloved Heather Stevens (Alley Mills). Unfortunately, in the real world, it could take years for him to recover.
However, in the soap world, characters move on with lightning speed. We predict that Sally and Daniel can connect romantically. It would be an ironic twist, considering Phyllis and Billy may soon admit their true feelings.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sally Could Help Daniel Move Past Heather’s Tragic Death
Sally may prove to be a reliable and trustworthy ear when Daniel needs to vent, and the compassion and friendship she gives him could lead to something more.
It would undoubtedly upset Phyllis a great deal if her son started dating Sally. It’s no secret that Phyllis and Sally have never gotten along. Phyllis’s dislike for Sally will only intensify if she and Daniel become romantically involved.
In many ways, Sally and Daniel are perfect for each other. They are both creative, artistic people. Sally is a successful fashion designer and an interior decorator. Daniel is an artist and a video game creator—no doubt they would bond over their shared interests.
However, Phyllis would likely think that Sally wasn’t good enough for her son. She would do everything in her power to try to drive a wedge between them.
A bonus for Sally would be that she’d feel like she was sticking it to Phyllis if she were involved with Phyllis’s son after she stole her boyfriend. Sally’s obviously not a vengeful person, but sometimes Phyllis can bring out the worst in others.
It would make for some exciting and compelling drama if “Silly” broke up so that “Philly” could have another shot at love, only for Sally and Daniel to come together and find love again.
