‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is going to try to do the impossible. She is going to try to broker a peace between her mother, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and her uncle, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Will she be successful?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Furious Friction
Ashley Abbott hates her brother’s new wife, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She thinks Diane is a terrible person because of all the ways that Diane hurt her brother in the past. She can’t believe that Jack has forgiven Diane and has fallen in love with her.
Ashley also believes that Diane is going to destroy her family company, Jabot. Jack gave Diane a senior position in the company, Chief Talent Officer. To Ashley, this spells doom and means that her concerns about Diane and her influence on Jack are warranted.
For his part, Jack hates Ashley’s fiancé, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He believes that Tucker is the one who is negatively influencing Ashley, getting her to move against Diane and against Jabot. He doesn’t believe that Ashley should have anything to do with the man who has hurt her so badly in the past.
Both of them hate their sibling’s significant other and neither one will back down. It is hard to see how they can make any progress in their relationship when they refuse to listen, understand and compromise.

Ashley’s daughter, Abby Newman, wants peace in her family again. She is also throwing the wedding for Ashley and Tucker at the Chancellor-Winters mansion.
She wants to be able to invite Jack but knows that things need to be repaired between Ashley and Jack before that can happen. She approaches Jack, to see if he would be willing to talk with her and Ashley.
What do you think about this? Will Abby be able to bring some peace between Jack and Ashley? Their sister, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) tried to do this by invoking the memory of their father, but nothing much changed between them.
They don’t seem to be willing to try to change their minds for one another. What do you think will happen with Abby gets them together?
