‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) got some news about Dominic that worried them a little bit. When they took Dominic into the doctor, they ran some tests and it turns out that his red blood cell count is low.
This obviously has Abby, Dominic’s mother, worried, but they still felt, or at least Chance felt, they should reach out and tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). When Devon rushed over he was kind of prying a bit too much into Abby which caused her to lash out a bit at Devon and make him take a step back.

While Abby may have indeed snapped at Devon, it did seem a little out of line. We all understand that Abby is worried about her son, and Devon has been overreaching the entire time since Dominic was born. I think this is just Abby finally letting it all out and getting her chance to tell Devon to back off.
The custody battle over Dominic was strange, especially when Chance, the baby’s father, was all for it. It didn’t feel right and Abby would be understandably upset by the situation. With Dominic getting sick, nerves are high.
So, what could be wrong with Dominic? Chances are, he’s anemic. This affects the body‘s ability to transport oxygen and nutrients around the cardiovascular system. The most common form of anemia is iron deficiency which can be managed with iron pills, but the worst-case scenario can cause kidney problems, blood loss, and malnutrition.
