‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers For December 1 have made it to the big event, and there happens to be a wedding to go along with it.
It’s an awesome moment for a show to get to their hundredth episode in primetime, but when it coms to daytime television, few can hold a candle to Y&R’s longevity in existence and at the top of the ratings.
It’s a great milestone that needs to be celebrated on and off camera.
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) are finally walking down the aisle.
It’s ben a fun ride, but it may not be what many fans want to see, especially when it comes to it being attached to the 12,000 episode celebration.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 1: New super couple
There’s little doubt to ‘Young and the Restless’ that this is one of those moments that the showrunner want to use the historical moment of the 12,000 episode.
It shows they have a great deal of trust in Abby and Chance to carry the mantle of super couple and this episode is most likely meant to give them that big push.
Of course, it means that they’re ignoring many, many, many fans on social media that are unhappy with how Chance and Abby have taken over the storylines.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 1: 12,000 Episode; Chance and Abby’s Wedding
It’s nothing new as we all have our favorites and not so favorites. A lot of it comes down to the writing as well, and ‘Young and the Restless’ have mentioned before how it’s lacking anymore.
Our belief is that the show is trying to be uber positive given the problems in the world at the moment, and that’s a commendable desire.
The problem is, people want to escape into the stories whether they’re dark or light. It’s similar to events after 9/11 when music television and radio flipped off the growing popularity of metal for bubblegum pop.
The this was that people “need and want” to see sunshine and rainbows in dark times, and while that’s true for some, more benefit more by seeing others go through dark times they can relate to.
It gives people the chance to see that they’re not alone, and it’s a great help.
Still, we expect the ceremony to be one to remember even if most fans don’t like the couple.
