‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Justin Gaston, the real-life husband of Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) appeared as Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) today. It was a small scene with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), but one that was fun and he did a great job.

For everyone who didn’t know, don’t worry, Boaz is still Chance Chancellor. Unfortunately, he tested positive for COVID-19 and had to be quarantined to his house. He had an update on Instagram saying he felt fine and was excited to get back to work. In the meantime, Gaston will be portraying Chance.

There were some small mannerisms that he nailed and even the speech pattern was pretty close to Boaz. It was a nice fill-in and it looks like he’ll be on for at least a few weeks. The good part is because he lives with Ordway (obviously), we may actually see some contact on the show.

I’ve almost become accustomed to it, the six feet apart stuff and not touching, but it’s still weird and gets to me. I look forward to seeing more of Gaston on, though can’t wait for Boaz to return.
