British Royal Family News suggests that Thomas Markle Sr. is doing everything he can to reach out to his estranged daughter Meghan Markle but unfortunately, hasn’t had much luck with it. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says the former Hollywood lighting director is trying to reconnect again with Meghan and start a new relationship with his son-in-law Prince Harry and the grandson he’s never met, Archie Harrison. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Us Weekly, Thomas has been sending letters to Meghan but they have allegedly remained unopened. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in Los Angeles since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic after pulling the plug on their working relationship with the royal family. As many royal fans know, Thomas lives not too far away in nearby Mexico.
British Royal Family News: Thomas Markle Sr. Is Not Giving Up Hope Yet
Upon learning that Harry and Meghan are currently living in Tyler Perry’s multi-million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills, Thomas has been sending letters to the couple, but they have been completely ignored. The last time that Thomas spoke to his daughter was right before the couple’s royal wedding in London back in May of 2018.
Thomas backed out of the wedding at the very last minute, citing health problems. However, reports have indicated that Meghan was embarrassed over the fact that her father had worked with a paparazzi photographer to stage photos of what was supposed to look like him getting ready for the wedding.
With that said, it looks like Meghan won’t be opening any letters or reaching out to her father, as their relationship got worse after both Thomas and the Duchess’ half-sister Samantha Markle gave multiple media interviews criticizing the royal couple. One source close to the situation says the former Suits star has been “upset and disturbed by the entire ordeal.”
