‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that since Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has been arrested, the show seems to have hit a lull.
We’re back to the same old boring storylines of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) flirting while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) whines and throws tantrums. It’s already getting to be too much.
With the trip to Rome on the horizon, I’m sure we’re going to get some drama, but let’s be honest, we already know what’s going to happen.
Hope is going to make a move on Thomas and Liam will see, meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will get back together for the one thousandth time!
‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Post-Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) Burn Out, Boring Storylines Take Over
The show has been predictable for a while, but at least with a character like Sheila we get a little excitement and craziness rather than the usual love triangle and crybabies.
If the series doesn’t do something quick, they will quickly fall down a rabbit hole that they may not be able to get out of. They need a good villain, someone who can cause some chaos.
For example, over on ‘The Young and the Restless’, they just brought back Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), a villain from nearly two decades ago and he has been causing chaos all over Genoa City. It’s been a great addition to the show and has catapulted main characters back into the spotlight.
B&B needs to do something similar, because if we continue down this path and the same storylines over and over, viewers are going to get tired and bored. The reason we watch any of this is because we want the drama, not a bunch of whiney 30-somethings going back and forth with each other every other day.
What do you think? Do you agree that the show is getting boring and what could they do to help add some excitement? Is there an old villain you would love to see come back? Let us know in the comments below.
