How do you say “vicious, but glamorous” in Italian? Of course, that would be the best way to describe Brooke Logan, the resident glamour girl on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers. In fact, her portrayer, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), recently opened up about the show’s immense popularity in Italy and why it means so much to her. Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Katherine opened up about the incredible fan reaction she received while filming the soap in Italy. She said, “Well, the show is huge in Italy and it’s so fun because the Italians make it fun.
They’re warm. They embrace you and love you and once they love something, their love just hits the roof and you feel it. You hear it and you see it and they are just wonderful.”

Katherine added, “It was fun to see the popularity in the European countries and [others] outside the U.S. and have that success for our show. It really says a lot about the show, and I’m happy that we were able to get in all those countries and still be there for so many years and be the top.”
With that said, Katherine added that she’s loved all of B&B’s glamorous location shoots from the past, which have also included Dubai and Australia.
When asked which one was her favorite, Katherine said, “All of them, for different reasons. Of course, Italy because Italy is known for its fashion and its glamour and its history and its food and wines and passion, so Italy is perfect for The Bold and the Beautiful. We did so many in Italy — Venice, Lake Como, Portofino. We did so many, all over.”
