‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Can Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) Save Hope From FINALLY Giving In To Thomas Forrester?

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers have found that fans are a little mystified as to why Brooke is so steadfastly on Team Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Ordinarily a mother would urge their daughter to kick her cheating husband to the curb but either Brooke has a soft spot for Liam, or there’s something else at play.

It could be that Brooke sees herself in the lad. How many times has Brooke bounced around to other men, most recently her sister’s husband and Liam’s father, ‘Dollar’ Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) before finding her way back to ‘one true love’ Ridge.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Is Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) Able to Save Her Daughter From Making a Terrible Decision?

Likely, though, it is more a case of better the devil you know. Or in this instance, better the devil who makes out with human women and not plastic women.

The writers seem to err on the side of caution when it comes to the size of the hints they drop. Just in case we couldn’t put two and two together and realize that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) currently has a man shaped hole in her life, they had to roll out the cutest kid to ever be locked in a janitor’s closet at Forrester Creations, Douglas Forrester (Henry Samir) and have him decide that daddy Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) should move in now that Liam has moved out.

Audiences are not loving the probability that Hope will fall into Thomas’ open (but in a restrained, no longer obsessive due to a ‘brain injury’ way) arms. We do have one person in our corner however, who will do everything she can to stop that: Liam-loving Brooke.

Brooke is all of us, not buying that Thomas is cured from his obsession and she isn’t afraid to let everyone know. I can’t have been the only fan cheering when, with narrowed eyes, Brooke declared, “I am warning you, Thomas. You will never be with my daughter!”

No matter how loud Thomas sings about being a changed man, or how much more adorable Douglas gets with every plea to have his family back intact, we hope the writers do not get Hope romantically involved with the man who kept her from her baby, forced her into marrying him and, when all other schemes failed, romanced a mannequin in her image.

Oh, and if you are listening Bradley Bell and crew, Hope really shouldn’t take her flip-flopping, cheating husband back, either.

For the first time we hope Brooke’s over-involvement in her adult children’s love lives works when it comes to keeping Thomas away from Hope. But while you are there, Brooke, be a good mother and remind Hope there are plenty of fish in the sea!

Watch B&B, weekdays on CBC to see if Brooke’s meddling can save Hope from the disaster that is dating Thomas.
