‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that Thomas Forrester is in for one wild ride, according to his portrayer, Matthew Atkinson, who has been doing one hell of job with the Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) mannequin storyline so far. Here’s what the actor has to say.
As many fans have figured out already, Thomas is dealing with some major mental health issues as he thinks the Hope doll is real.

“I was like, ‘I can’t wait to see how they write this,’” the handsome Georgia-born actor recently told Soaps in Depth in a new interview. “And I think they did a great job with making this sort of a going down the depths of the mental instability of Thomas and making it a serious issue for him. Because mental health is a thing we should all be talking about, especially right now. It might spark some conversations. I think it’s really cool.”

And while seeing Thomas hear the Hope doll speak to him was something that really did turn a lot of heads, Matthew says that this storyline is about to take on a much darker turn that won’t bode very well for his character. In other words, things are about to keep fans at the edge of their seats.
“You can see that Thomas is suffering,” Atkinson noted. “This isn’t something he’s creating out of nowhere. It’s not him obsessing over Hope. it’s something that seems to be happening to him. I can’t tell you how deep it’s gonna go, but I will say that it definitely is a very serious thing that’s happening to him and… man, it’s gonna be a wild ride!”
