‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that Matthew Atkinson believes his on-screen character Thomas Forrester can still be redeemed, even though he is often portrayed as a villain in the Forrester mansion. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, the handsome actor says that his alter ego can get through his current ordeal and come out the other side feeling stronger, better and most importantly, nicer.

As many fans know, Thomas believes that a doll that looks just like the woman that he has long been obsessed with, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), is alive.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Matthew Atkinson Believes Thomas Forrester Is Still A Redeemable Character

Of course, a lot of people are less likely to be sympathetic to a character like Thomas Forrester, simply because he has long been known as a terrorist in this fictional town of Los Angeles. He has done everything that he can to keep Hope Logan from slipping away from his arms.

“I still think that Thomas is a redeemable character,” Matthew told the publication. “I hope everyone else does, too. This isn’t something that he’s creating, this is something that seems to be happening to him. So there’s either an outside force that’s creating this or there’s something within himself that he needs to fix. So it’s up to Thomas to help himself and hopefully, get around to asking for help from other people and being honest about what he’s suffering with. Because if not, it’s a long, deep rabbit hole that it would not be good for him to go down.”
