Jef Holm, who is best known for being the winner of The Bachelorette on the 8th season, has been given a restraining order against Robby Hayes.

Jef, for his part, used to live with Robby as the duo struck up a good friendship as room-mates. While the latter no longer lives with Jef, that has not stopped Robby from keeping a close eye on him. So much so that Jef no longer feels safe within the confinements of his own home.
In an official statement given to the court, Jef said: “Robert used to live at my house but does not now. He continues to enter the premises & harass me & I do not feel safe around him. He threatens me and still hasn’t stopped to this day.”
This is especially worrying given that Jef claimed that Robby no longer has any personal belongings at the house. Therefore, the only reason he would enter would be to do something untoward. And that is precisely what Jef has been informing the court. During one particular encounter, Jef admitted that his life had been threatened.
He added: “I was alone in my home when he entered abruptly and aggressively started threatening me & I felt very unsafe. [Robby] yelled at me and threatened me and entered without permission.” With that in mind, Jef had no choice but to inform the authorities.
Doing nothing obviously risked the chance of something serious happening. At the same time, going through the court system had the added expense of money and emotional trauma. But through it all, Jef came out of the other side. The judge signed the order, which has prevented Robby from coming anywhere near Jef’s house, vehicle or workplace.
It is not clear why Robby would behave in such a way which leaves us with only two explanations. Firstly, there is a lot of bad blood between the two, which has now spilt over into rage. Secondly, Robby has some issues that he needs to deal with. It will be fascinating to see whether Robby makes a response, and rest assured, there is still more to this story yet.
