Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes have let their fans know that they are really happy together, despite various members of the public suggesting that they only got together following Greg Grippo’s dramatic exit.

Greg, for his part, left after Katie had failed to tell him that she loved him. Although she tried her best to keep him there, it was not enough. That is when Katie locked herself in the bathroom and demanded that the producers book her flight tickets home. But when she decided to then change her mind, some fans felt she chose Blake out of desperation.
And yet, nothing could be further from the truth. In an interview with Us Weekly, Katie said: “We’re ready to just close that door forever and move forward. You can be happy and in love in your relationship, but still, be upset with how someone treated you in the past, and you want to speak on it.”
Nevertheless, that has not stopped fans from suggesting that she still has feelings for Greg. First of all, if Katie was completely over Greg, she would not be feeling hurt by what he had done. After all, she would be feeling happy. Secondly, if Greg is no longer significant, why is Katie feeling the need to continue discussing him.
Unlike other stars, such as Cassie Randolph, who have chosen not to address their ex-partners who in this case was Colton Underwood, Katie continues to mention Greg. Having said all that, she felt justified in doing so.
She added: “It doesn’t make sense to forget how someone mistreated me and how it made me feel just because I’m very happy and in love. You have the opportunity to speak to someone who hurt you. You’re going to do it.” In addition, Blake had a similar point of view. He praised Katie for being so brave and standing up for herself even though she was under so much pressure.
His following comments confirmed as much: “I knew she was going to speak her mind, [which is] one of the things I do love about her. And she did just that. I watched it. I was just kinda laughing about it, being like, I love this.”
