Reality television dating show worlds have collided with The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise’s Blake Horstmann “taking things slow” in his new relationship with Giannina Gibelli from season one of Love is Blind.
A source has confirmed the pair’s budding romance after some eagle-eyed fans began to notice that the reality stars were posting photos from the same locations on social media.
The biggest clue that got tongues wagging were their similar posts from this New Year’s Eve. Not only did the backgrounds match up, with the television stars ringing the new year at Mile High Spirits (in Blake’s hometown of Denver, Colorado), but one of Giannina’s castmates from Love is Blind, Kelly Chase commented on Blake’s post.

The caption on now-brunette Giannina’s similar post claimed she’s “about to walk into the best year of my life.”
Both Giannina and Blake posted shots of themselves in the snow only two days later, in very similar-looking places. Most presume it is Blake’s home.
It’s nice to see Horstmann learned from his Stagecoach debacle and is now dating outside of the Bachelor Nation pool.
For those who missed it, in between ending up as the runner-up on Becca Kurfin’s season 14 of The Bachelorette and appearing on season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise, Blake was a busy guy, hooking up with Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Kristina Schulman, and Hannah Godwin.
As for Giannina, she had a little more luck on 2020’s Love is Blind, falling in love with contestant Damian Powers without either laying eyes on each other.
The besotted couple became engaged after finally meeting in person, but never married. Damian told Giannina that he couldn’t go through with the wedding while they were at the altar. They stayed together as a couple despite this.
In another reality dating show collision, Damian was accused of having a romance with Too Hot to Handle’s Francesca Farago. Damian denied this, however, he and Giannina did break up sometime in the early summer of 2021.
