The Bachelor finds that Tia Booth crawled into everyone’s hearts on season 22 of The Bachelor when racing for the heart of race car driving Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr. And now Tia is relying on the support of her fans after posting an awful family update on her Instagram. Tia’s father, Kenny has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.
Tia posted a photo of herself in a sweater that read: “Hey cancer, f— you, you f—— f—” along with a comment that spoke of how her father was diagnosed with cancer in early March. The reality star said it took her many weeks to “wrap my mind around it.”

The post continued, saying, “Cancer is a nasty little word and when it affects someone you love, it feels like getting the wind knocked outta ya. Although not curable, we are all thankful it’s treatable with Chemo-started today!”
Tia praised her father for how he’s handling his chemo; with the same humor Tia adopts to handle stressful situations. She then hoped her father would suffer minimal side effects from the aggressive treatments and asked for good vibes & prayers for her father and his medical team.
The Arkansas native explained why she posted about her father’s health battle to social media saying she does “truly believe in the power of prayer.”
Tia finished the lengthy post by saying, “I know it’s heavy to post, but sometimes life slaps you in the face to make you realize what’s important. I love you, @kenny.booth #butalso #f—cancer.”
Tia’s fans and other Bachelor Alums have all left messages of love and hope for the 29- year-old and her father. No word yet from her ex-boyfriend Colton Underwood though, who has ripped the spotlight away from any member of Bachelor Nation with his recent coming out on GMA. Or vice versa.
