‘The Bachelor’ spoilers find that we are not going to see the next season air until 2022, but already there has been a lot of gossip about what will be the 26th season of the fan-favorite reality show.
First the leading man was revealed to be Clayton Echard. Never heard of him? No one in Bachelor Nation had- until the mayor of his town invited all of Eureka, Missouri to come and watch his intro package be filmed. Clayton will appear on Michelle Young’s upcoming Bachelorette season and producers promise fans will fall for our soon-to-be leading man.

But Clayton’s surprise casting was soon eclipsed by the news that Jesse Palmer, an ex-Bachelor himself will be taking over Chris Harrison’s vacated host role for season 26- and possibly on a permanent basis
Now there is something new for long-time viewers to talk about- a contestant who is currently filming for Clayton’s season named Salley Carson.
Salley’s name in the upcoming cast list as exposed but Reality Steve triggered some warning bells for internet sleuths who looked to dig up dirt on the women currently vying for Clayton’s heart. When it comes to Sally, some very interesting information has been uncovered.
It seems Salley has a wedding registry set up with Crate and Barrel, with a wedding date for this past weekend! Salley was all set to marry someone named Avery Buchholz, but called the whole thing off (at least one of them did as the registry was closed), just prior to appearing on The Bachelor! Also, Salley’s bachelorette party, which happened in August, was splashed all over her social media.
This led to…oh, a million questions like: did Salley apply while still engaged? It seems like that would have to be the case. Also, do the producers do ANY back ground checks/research into their contestants? It seems like that’s a big fat ‘no’!
Unfortunately, we have until next year to find out all about Salley and to see if she is there “for the right reasons”. Before then you can meet our upcoming Bachelor, Clayton, when he steps out of the limo to meet Michelle on Season 18 of the Bachelorette, airing on October 18 on ABC!
