‘The Bachelor’ spoilers find that though no official announcement has been made by ABC, the town from which the next Bachelor hails has jumped the gun and leaked his identity all over the place.
The town of Eureka, Missouri, with a population of just over 10,000 is very proud of their newest claim to fame. Eureka’s Mayor didn’t’ just hang a huge banner across main street encouraging their new favorite son to “Go find love”, he also sent out a tweet so locals would know that filming would begin that day at 3pm in downtown Eureka.
The Mayor welcomed Eureka residents to “come down to wish him good luck on the show and watch the shoot.”
‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Season 26 Lead Identity Has Been Leaked.
So, who is the Missourian who has been awarded the role of Season 26’s Bachelor?
Clayton Echard is the Eureka man of the hour. While little was known about him before his name was leaked to Bachelor Nation, other than he is a reject from Michelle Young’s upcoming Bachelorette season, you can bet that online detectives immediately donned their Sherlock Holmes hats and are doing their best to get the skinny on the 28 year old Missourian.
Clayton is apparently a ‘Full-Line Sales Representative’ with Stryker Orthopedics. Like many Bachelors before him, Clayton was once a football player. He played for the University of Missouri at Columbia before playing for a few months with the Seattle Seahawks. He made it through the first round of cuts but ultimately did not make it on the final NFL team.
Somehow it has been discovered that Clayton was once a freestyle rapper. Cringe.
Of course, Bachelor Nation has scoured his social media- likely looking for photos of confederate flags and selfies at plantations. Either Clayton is clean or smart enough to scrub his social media clean as all folks could ascertain from a deep dive is that Clayton is a good ole family man.
Though he is still a complete stranger to Bachelor Nation, Executive Producer, Mike Fleiss has been teasing that they hit the jackpot with their new lead. Though there have been a few dull duds in the past, we will keep our fingers crossed that ABC got it right this time with Clayton. His town certainly thinks so!
Watch The Bachelorette when it premieres on ABC on October 19 to watch Michelle’s journey to find love and get to know Clayton a little more before he takes the lead!
