Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell have continued to go on strong since they rekindled their relationship in the aftermath of The Bachelor.

The duo initially broke up after Rachael’s social media activity raised concerns that she was perpetuating racism. This caused Matt to distance himself from her and request that she go away to learn about black issues.
However, having done that, it paved the way for both of them to get back together. And ever since that moment, things could not be going any better.
In an interview with Us Weekly, she said: “We’re in a great place. We just needed to take that time away from everyone and really figure everything out, and I think that we were just so sick of the outside noise, and we were like, ‘You know what? We need to just put all of that aside…It’s been so so incredible.” Despite the happiness they have, the couple are in no rush to take things to the next stage.
Fans have already begun to speculate on whether we could see the pair starting a family soon. As of now, there is nothing new that way. She added: “I think we honestly enjoy just taking it one day at a time. I think the best thing for us right now is not putting any pressure on the relationship because that’s what everyone else does to us every single day, and we get that question every single day.”
And yet, that has not stopped the fans from demanding that the pair take things to the next level. Even though they walked away following the franchise as a couple, they did not get engaged to each other. Having said all that, the couple don’t have any plans to be walking down the aisle anytime soon.
She continued: “It’s like ‘, When are you guys getting engaged? Are you guys engaged yet?’ And, of course, we talk about it, but it’s just been nice to not have that pressure for the last few months because that’s all our relationship was in the beginning.” The duo have a lot of time ahead of them, and the fans will be excited to see what they do next.
