The Bachelor long time but recently fired host, Chris Harrison has given out his final rose- and an engagement ring- to girlfriend of three years, Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima.
The couple announced their exciting news simultaneously on their individual Instagram accounts.
Lauren posted a picture of the couple sipping champagne with the engagement ring on display. The 33 year old ET anchor captioned the post, “We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this. You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you. Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest 💍”

Chris’ post captured the moment he was on bended knee, with the simple caption “I love you @laurenzima The next chapter starts now!”
Both posts were flooded by congratulations from notable Bachelor alum like Ashley Iaconetti writing, “AHHHH YAYYY!!!! Congratulations!! So happy for you!” on Chris’ post. Ashley’s husband (and also Bachelor Nation alum), Jared Haibon left a similar sentiment on Lauren’s post, writing, “Yay!!! Congratulations!!!”
The pair met through their work, with their paths crossing on the interview circuit many times. Lauren revealed during an episode of Nick Viall‘s “The Viall Files” podcast that she made the first move, taking their relationship from professional to romantic by DMing her now fiancé.
They began dating in August of 2018 and made it official by walking their first red carpet together in January 2019 at a Screen Actors Guild awards party. This happened only four days after Lauren’s husband, Charles McKeague filed for divorce.
This will also be the second marriage for Chris, 50, who wed his college sweetheart, Gwen Harrison in 1994. After 18 years of marriage and two children, the couple divorced in 2012.
No word yet if Neil Lane had anything to do with the ring Chris gave Lauren!
