After everything that he’s gone through, Colton Underwood says that he’s not ready to kiss and tell. The former Bachelor Star wouldn’t go into detail about the new relationship in his life. Here’s what he has to say.
In a new interview with ET Online, Colton put it this way, “I’ve learned this new thing since I did The Bachelor it’s called boundaries. I finally put some up. Having a public relationship wasn’t the healthiest thing last time. I’m very happy. I’m in a very good place in my relationship with him. That’s pretty much all I’ve got for you.”
Colton Underwood Is Setting Boundaries
Back in May, Colton said that blackmail was the reason why he was forced to come out in public. He said that someone claims that he secretly took pictures of Colton at an LA gay spa and threatened to out him. This prompted him to reveal that he is gay to Robin Roberts in an emotional Good Morning America interview.
He said, “I, at one point, during my rock bottom and spiral, was getting blackmailed. Nobody knows I was blackmailed.” Soon after coming out, Colton apologized to his ex Cassie Randolph for making bad choices in their relationship.
“If I’m being very honest, I loved everything about her,” he said, adding that the feelings he shared for Randolph “only made it harder and more confusing” for him as he grappled with his own questions about his sexuality.
“And it’s hard for me to articulate exactly what my emotions were going through that relationship with her, because I obviously had an internal fight going on,” he continued. “I would just say I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart. I’m sorry for the pain and emotional stress I caused. I wish it wouldn’t have happened the way it did. I wish that I would have been courageous enough to fix myself before I broke anybody else.”
