Demi Burnett has brutally shaded Colton Underwood when she was asked about the news that he was gay.

Colton dropped the major bombshell, which has now seen him sign a deal with Netflix in order to reveal his coming out story. While there has been some positive reaction to the news, others (including Demi) have not been so sympathetic.
In fact, she had a few harsh words to say about it all. During an interview with the E!’s Daily Pop, Demi blasted Colton when she was asked about who he should date. She said: “Someone that he won’t stalk.” The comment above was clearly directed at Colton’s relationship with Cassie Randolph.
The latter had filed a restraining order against him in the aftermath of their split. Although she would go on to drop it, the action did say a lot about the type of man Colton was. Nevertheless, Colton has attempted to move on from his prior mistakes.
In a previous interview on Good Morning America, he expressed how remorseful he was over his past conduct. He stated: “I obviously had an internal fight going on. I would just say that I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart. I’m sorry for any pain and emotional stress I caused. I wish that it wouldn’t have happened the way that it did.”
Cassie, however, has decided to act in a different manner. She has remained silent on Colton’s news and has chosen to focus on her own future. There had been initial reports that she may make an appearance on Colton’s Netflix documentary in order to give her side of the story.
However, sources have confirmed that this is not going to happen. A source said: “She hasn’t heard details of what is going to be said about their past relationship and she’s certainly not going to make any appearances in it.”
Colton will have to do a lot so as to redeem himself with Cassie and a significant proportion of the fans. The documentary will provide an opportunity to do just that, and fans will no doubt be tuning in to see his take on it all.
