On TLC’s Seeking Sister Wife, Garrick Merrifield is ready to move to the next level with his future wife, Roberta. Roberta is now recovering from COVID-19 and in the latest trailer for the show, he tells cameras that he wants to take this step because he never knows what will happen next in life.
He told cameras, “COVID has shown us that we definitely have no guarantee of what’s going to happen tomorrow.
Our plan was always to get married in Mexico after her visa got apporved. But with COVID shutdowns, it’s still going to take quite a while before, you know, her visa is approved.”
Seeking Sister Wife: Garrick Opens Up to Dannielle Merrifield
Garrick took some time to talk to his wife, Dannielle about what his ideas with Roberta are. He told her that he knows that Roberta isn’t getting any younger and he wants to go down to Mexico and start trying to have a baby with her so that they can start their family.

Dannielle’s face seems a little distressed about all of this talk and then she opened up about how she was feeling.
Dannielle told cameras, “Knowing that Garrick and Roberta have changed gears, you know, ‘We’re not doing the wedding,’ and they want to move forward with having a baby and starting their life together does make me a little apprehensive. I do want to be supportive and I know the goal is for Garrick and Roberta to ultimately start a family together. But with the pandemic going on and also communication with Roberta being very spotty, yeah.. I don’t know.”
There seems to be a lot if uncertainty coming from Dannielle and it seems that she may even feel a little jealous about the whole situation. It doesn’t seem that Garrick cares about how she is feeling about the baby because he just continues to talk to her like it’s not a big deal.
Dannielle then tells Garrick, “This is a lot to think about. I think we should keep talking about it, make sure we make the best choice. Yeah, I mean it’s part of moving forward in life. We can’t put a hold on everything.”
