Meghan Markle’s most prominent supporters are slowly turning on her. Rumors are persistent that Meghan’s former BFF is about to spill the tea about her falling out with the Duchess in a tell-all book.
Jessica Was The First Person Meghan Told About Prince Harry
Meanwhile, more of the Sussex Squad have cut ties with Meghan. The Duchess’s new group now consists of Suits actress Abigail Spencer, comedian Mindy Kaling, and Kelly McKee Zajfen, founder of the Alliance for Moms.
Yet, years ago, the As Ever founder could often be seen out and about with Jessica Mulroney and TV personality Stassi Schroeder.
Jessica was the first person Meghan told about her engagement to Prince Harry. After Jessica shared her views on Black Lives Matter, Meghan severed ties with Mulroney.
Mulroney was labeled “toxic” and was accused of having “white privilege.” She lost several potential gigs she had in the works.
Jessica was even forced to step down from the charity she established to help homeless people. At the same time, Meghan distanced himself from her BFF.
An insider told the Daily Mail how Jessica felt when Meghan unceremoniously dumped her, “She was upset that their friendship ended. Jessica knows where the bodies are buried. Meghan will be worried.”
A publishing insider reported to the Mirror newspaper, “Jessica’s explosive story is one the publishers want to get their hands on.”
They continued, “She could command up to a seven-figure sum, depending on what she is prepared to say.”
Meghan Felt Jessica Was Capitalizing On Their Friendship To Gain Fame
Jessica was Meghan’s closest confidant and knew all her secrets. The two of them met while Meghan was filming Suits in Toronto and instantly became close.
Mulroney attended Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding. She was also Meghan’s unofficial wedding planner. It was a shock to Jessica when Meghan ditched her.
According to another inside source, Meghan felt that Jessica was capitalizing on their friendship to try to gain fame.
It’s ironic considering that Meghan has seemingly made a career out of capitalizing on the royal family. The source added, “The white privilege row has really given Meghan the excuse she was waiting for to cut Jess off for good.”
They continued, “I don’t know what the tipping point was, but Jess has been on the outs for some time.” Jessica has remained tight-lipped about her friendship fallout with Meghan.
Yet, publishers are circling her like a hawk, waiting for the right moment to swoop in and get the scoop. Mulroney also played an integral role in Megxit, but she’s not been seen with the Duchess since.
Additionally, Stassi Schroeder has unfollowed Meghan on social media. She had once described herself as Meghan’s “number one fan.”
She was constantly supportive of the Duchess and encouraged her ideas. Stassi even defended the Duchess when people were making fun of her Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan.”
Stassi Schoeder Supported The Duchess When No One Else Did
This month, she has declared that she will no longer support the Duchess and has unfollowed her on Instagram.
Schroeder claimed that she was kept off Meghan’s As Ever PR list. Stassi said, “I literally defended her when no one else did.”
She continued, “I think that she is stuck in 2017, and she just thinks I’m a lowly reality TV person, and I am furious, and this is the last straw.” Stassi described Meghan’s snub as a lack of appreciation for her fans.

When Jessica was asked about Meghan’s royal wedding in 2019, she responded, “Listen, every person has to have a bit of privacy in their life.
She added, “There are certain things I’ll never talk about for sure. My life is an open book, but there are always a few secret pages in the back that nobody will ever be able to read.”
