Meghan Markle has released her new trailer for season two of “With Love, Meghan.” It should come as no surprise that it looks every bit as bland, fake, and cringeworthy as the first season.
Meghan’s Trailer Of “With Love, Meghan,” Includes Her Usual Vapid Word Salad
While Netflix has certainly loosened its ties with the Sussexes, they continue on with the s**t show that is Prince Harry and Meghan.
In the one-minute twenty-seven-second trailer, fans see the Duchess of Sussex eating cheese. She prepares food and snacks. She also shares with the audience the foods that Harry doesn’t like. Yawn.
“Do you know that my husband doesn’t like lobster?”
She asks.
“My husband,”
She says as she’s cooking a seafood meal. The celeb chef she’s speaking to responds,
“And you married him anyway?”
As the trailer comes to an end, Meghan uses her usual vapid word salad to convey her happy message,
“I love these moments of discovery and beauty. So, let’s be curious together.”
The first series showed Meghan inviting her celebrity friends to come “make magic with her” and “delight in the ordinary,” as she would say.
That said, if you are anything like most people, you likely hated the first season. If that’s true, you’ll also find the second season just as cringeworthy and joyless.
The first season of “With Love, Meghan” was poorly received by viewers and poorly reviewed by critics. One critic jokingly slammed the show, saying, “It’s so awful, it’s almost compelling.”
In the first season, Meghan was seen transferring store-bought pretzels from their plastic bag into smaller-sized “snack bags” to leave in a room for her guests. She was mocked hilariously for this move on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
The New Episodes Were Advertised As “Fun And Heartwarming”
Meghan also berated her comedian friend, Mindy Kaling, for failing to call her by her surname, Sussex. One viewer threatened to sue Meghan over a recipe for homemade bath salts that burned her skin.
One royal expert, Kinsey Schofield, commented,
“I think she’s doing this pursuit of joy, happiness, look at me dancing, having fun, as a way to change public perception about her.”
The new episodes were advertised as “fun and heartwarming.” Of course, this season is no different, as Meghan welcomes more celebrity guests into the Montecito mansion she’s rented specifically for this purpose.
One of her guests is model, Chrissy Teigen, who’s married to singer and performer, John Legend. The new trailer is hot on the heels of Harry and Meghan’s announcement of their new first-look deal with Netflix.
Another upcoming project from Harry and Meghan is a short documentary about an African orphanage. It’s part of their meager first-look deal with Netflix.
Harry And Meghan’s Documentary Of An African Orphanage Was Criticized For Monetizing The Children’s Hardships
The documentary film is called “Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within.” The orphanage is comprised of Masaka Kids, a dance troupe of children aged two and older.
Social media users criticized Harry and Meghan, with one person claiming it
“trivializes the hardships of others for self-glorification.”
Royal watchers have expressed that Harry and Meghan are monetizing the hardships of these African children.
It seems like Netflix should hire crisis consultants to make this couple stop their mundane and offensive content.
Another person remarked that it’s almost as offensive as Meghan
“offering makeup to the young women who lost their homes in the California wildfires.”
Much of Harry and Meghan’s content only serves one purpose: to fulfill their self-serving narrative.
PR expert Mark Borkowski explained the situation to the Daily Mail,
“I think Netflix has done a very neat job of pivoting away from two very expensive people who don’t deliver, and they’ve taken the deal off the table, and they’ve given them a modest one.”
Meghan’s lifestyle and cooking show, “With Love, Meghan,” premieres its second season on August 26th. Meghan also has a Christmas special slated for sometime in December.
