…Okay, not really but that’s how Adja Toure phrased it so we’ll go with that. Apparently, Victoria has become really, really close with Margaux’s family. The original plan was for all the girls, including typhoid Mary – we – Emily Gorelik, to stay behind an extra day in Cannes and meet Margaux’s Dad.
But at the last minute, Margaux told everyone that it would actually be too expensive for everyone to stay so she rescinded the invite to just Victoria instead. Emily said she really didn’t expect to get an invite but you could tell that she didn’t like plans being changed at the last minute.

This may be the beginning of more drama and pettiness between the girls, simply because Margaux was acting pretty exclusive. Adja got a little offended because she said she thought everyone had gone to bed but she heard Margaux and Victoria still up giggling up a storm and it made her feel left out.
She thought that they were getting closer on this trip and at first glance they were but now it looks like pettiness has won out and we’re back to being human again. Although one wonders if Margaux was simply trying to keep her aging Father away from someone who potentially still has COVID.
It would stand to reason especially since she didn’t really believe Emily when she said that she tested negative and even accused her of having a fake negative COVID test (which you could get at one point but then government crackdowns were made.), if that was her entire reasoning behind cancelling on everyone that would make sense but it looks like she would have simply said that if that be the case, then again she doesn’t really seem like the type to do that and put Emily on the spot, which is exactly what that would serve to do.
These girls seem slightly classier than that, at least so far, but then again it’s early in the season, we’re pretty sure that the fur will fly soon. Stay tuned!!!
