The royal family stepped out for the tenth day of Wimbledon, as Queen Camilla was seen with Kate Middleton’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. She was also with Zara and Mike Tindall.

The Royal Family And A Vast Array Of Celebrities Enjoyed The Game

Queen Camilla was also joined by many celebrities, including Keira Knightly, David Suchet, Richard E Grant, ABBA guitarist Bjorn Ulvaeus, and Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

Other key high-profile tennis enthusiasts include The Archbishop of Canterbury, Fergal Sharkey, an environmental campaigner, and Mark Carney, the prior Governor of the Bank of England.

However, Kate is still a no-show. Queen Camilla was in good spirits as she watched the game. She sat in the Royal Box to see the quarter-final women’s singles match between Elina Svitolina of Ukraine and Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.

It was a tense match, as the players’ animosity between Ukraine and Russia was evident. Two days ago, Svitolina called for the All-England Club to exclude Russian tennis players. She broke down in tears over the shelling of a children’s hospital in Kyiv.

Rybakina originally represented Russia before she switched to Kazakhstan after the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation offered her training to help her career.

Svitolina was happy that her opponent switched nationalities. She shook her hand after the match in acknowledgment.

Today’s quarter-finals of the men’s and women’s singles were in progress as fans eagerly watched the action. Novak Djokovic competed for a semi-final place against Australian Alex de Minaur on Center Court earlier today.

Camilla shook hands with tennis players and conversed with former British players Jamie Delgado and Laura Robson.

The Queen consort also met an adorable young fan with a VIP pass. She was the daughter of Mexican tennis player Santiago Gonzalez. The little girl shook her hand before sitting in her seat.

The Duchess Of Gloucester Will Present Trophies If Kate Is A No-Show

Yesterday, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, represented the family in the Royal Box.

Carole and Michael smiled and waved at well-wishers as they arrived, and Mrs. Middleton took her style cues from her daughter, Kate, wearing a lovely green and floral flowing dress.

If she feels well enough, Kate is slated to present trophies to the winners this weekend. However, if Kate is unavailable, Wimbledon has lined up Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester, to do the honors this weekend.

The Duchess was born in Denmark as Birgitte Eva van Deurs Henrikson. She married Prince Richard in July 1972. She is a major tennis fan and has been an Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association for 25 years.

The Princess of Wales took over Queen Elizabeth’s duties as patron of the All-England Club in 2016. Since then, she’s presented trophies every year.

    Trooping of the Color 2024

Kate has only made one public appearance this year, at Trooping the Color. She looked radiant, and although there was great hope for her to resume her royal duties, Kensington Palace clarified that her appearance did not signify an official return to work.

Whether or not Kate will attend this weekend will likely be a last-minute decision, as it was with the King’s birthday on June 15th.
