They sure do make them cute, don’t they? Prince William and Kate Middleton recently shared a photo of their son Prince Louis on a red mike to mark his third birthday.
Louis is shown beaming as he sat on his bike in the grounds of Kensington Palace. The photo was snapped by his mother Kate Middleton earlier this week. Here’s what you need to know.
Wearing a jumper, shirt, shorts and with his rucksack on his back, the prince appears ready to cycle off to Willcocks Nursery School. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share a new photograph ahead of Prince Louis’ third birthday tomorrow,” Kensington Palace said in a statement released Thursday.

Louis is following in the footsteps of big sister Princess Charlotte, aged five, who also attended the same nursery. The school, founded in 1964, is housed in a church hall just a short walk from Kensington Palace.
Louis was born on April 23, 2018, becoming fifth in line to the throne behind his older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
As many royal fans by now know, Kate Middleton, an amateur photographer, accepted a lifetime honorary membership of the Royal Photographic Society in 2017 and was praised for her “talent and enthusiasm.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released photos of Louis every year on his birthday, a tradition they started for Prince George and have followed for Charlotte and Louis, too.
The young prince has rarely been seen in public – his most prominent outing during the past 12 months was when he joined his parents and siblings at a special pantomime performance at London’s Palladium Theatre last winter.
